ROBERT GRIFFIN III went in #penis. In the first game of the season he threw for 5 TD’s in 22 completions and 359 yds. He is health this year and its gonna be fun.
Texas V. Rice nice to see the new better Offensive scheme work well can’t wait for a real test
Texas V. BYU #smh Not sure what to make of this, defense showed up, and the coaches decided to pull Gilbert…. I not sure whether that will pan out but I am happy to see to a confident freshman.
Texas V. UCLA So the coaches stayed with McCoy and it paid off. The fluidity and familiarity that was shown in week one seemed to be there. Not really a road test but it is a great revenge win from last year. The “wild-bevo”or whatever you want to name it is still doing the trick cause Fozzy rushed in a 36 yard TD off the direct snap.
Oregon V. LSU was a revisit to the same problems the Ducks faces in the BCS national championship game. The big, and fast team with time to prepare will beat Oregon. On top of the obvious fact that Oregon was ill prepared mentally with the 12 penalties for 95 yards and the four turnovers they were bound to get beat. Plus side is at least it was week one.
Oregon V. Nevada looked like business as usual the defense gave up a few to many points which I am not sure if that is something that can be changed or not. But if they could check that then they can win the Pac-12 and make it to the Rose Bowl.
Oregon V. MO State push over game no offence to the MO State players but the Ducks were the better team and proved it. Down side was there was no scoring in the 4th but I suffice with just holding them to 7 points
GT V. West Car was a cake walk because it was supposed to be. The nice thing was to see that the starters had settled more into their rolls from last year. Nice to see Hill catch a ball for once and to see Peoples, Jones, and Smith make good use of their size and speed catching out of the back field.
GT V. Mid Ten St. was yet another cake walk. Not for good reason with a youngish team such as this to build character and insure that they are ready for the pressure of the regular season. CONTRARY to common belief just because the team is passing in the first to weeks doesn’t mean that they are going to use a more pass heavy system. Though it is nice to see the jackets achieve the skeleton of a passing attack.
GT V. Kansas was to be the first test for the triple option but they were so prepared for the zone read or option toss that they got beat multiple times by the toss sweep. Jackets fastest play beat the JayHawks up and down the field. Yet that’s not the best part of the Jackets play on Saturday. The best part is the jacket defense didn’t allow the JayHawks to beat them through the air. Though they did allow for over 300 yards of offense to many times last year did they get beat up but the aerial attack of another team.
