Colorado & Utah – So recently the Pac-10 expanded to the Pac-12 in which the schools Utah and Colorado. Neither team has beating any teams in the Pac-12. Between the two teams they have won four games. Colorado has been out scored 297 to 155. Utah has beaten BYU, Montana State, and Pitt. Although Pitt was a good non-conference win for Utah it means nothing if you don’t have any conference victories. So in short not sure of a reason at all why, short of monetary, that you would switch to a conference where you can’t win. I am not sure that the pros (money) out way the cons (THE W’s), but I know that if Buffaloes can’t win the early part of their schedule the only thing left that isn’t a blow out on paper is the game against Utah. Utah can at least say they have won some games but they are in the same boat where the match against Colorado maybe the light at the end of the tunnel.
Oregon v. Colorado – Well in this week Colorado lost without putting an offensive point on the board. A 45 – 2 blow out at the hands of the Ducks who played without both LaMichael James and Darron Thomas again. Simple victory for the Ducks they are a few weeks from an anticipated challenge in Washington and their stellar QB. But Next week they will have to deal with Washington State who have a descent passing offense and desperately need a big win
GT v. Miami – Not sure how to put this…..NOPE I DO. The speed of the Miami Hurricane defense makes them one of the best teams in the country at stopping the triple option. Not to mention Tech has struggled the last two weeks against teams that aren’t know for stout defensive prowess. So the ‘Canes not only had the skill to impede the Paul Johnson offense a handbook or how-to. Make it worse the Jackets have to bounce back quickly because they have an 8 pm game against the Undefeated #5 Clemson Tigers.
Texas Tech v. OU – Well we found the Sooners weakness and its a team the can score quickly and through the air.
