Longhorns are playing the Oklahoma St. Cowboys who are chomping at tye bits to prove the team still has it after the loss of Brandon Weeden and Justin Blackmon to the NFL. Ash will be tested here as Coach Gundy generally has a well taught defense.
Ash has made a name for himself in the first three games we’ll see if he can maintain that success. I am a fan of the Olympian Marquise Goodwin, who with the longhorns this season has onoy caught 5 passes at reciever. Yet he has totaled 125 yds making it an average of 25 yds a carry. So you can see why I am a fan of his.
Which shows how much the Longhorns are getting back/sticking to their new offensive scheme. Run the ball well and pass even better, so to speak. As the game progresses the defense gets tight attempting to better contain the run and allowing for Ash to complete passes to Mike Davis, at least that was the case with ol miss, five times for 124 yds and 1 TD.
In short Im look forward to the Longhorn team as they get more comfortable with the coaches and I look for someone on this team to make a name for themselves.
