OU v. Texas – The Longhorns for a mostly young team looked really confident in the opening minutes of the game. But in the end they just got DOMINATED by the skill not coaching of the OU team. One thing I will say about OU is that I am a fan of beating up your opponent on the scoreboard until the game ends but I don’t understand keeping your starters in the entire game. That I feel leads to more self-hurt then not.
GT v. Maryland – Uh Oh the Jackets were held to a very minimal game. Yes there was a victory against Maryland at the end of the day but if someone can figure out how to stop the offense of GT the defense can’t do anything about it. I hope that Coach Johnson can fix what holes the Maryland time found in his attack strategy but history says that’s unlikely to happen.
Oregon v. Cal – So Oregon got their week started early on Thursday night and boy it was fun for the Ducks. Got off to their normal start just Chipping (get the reference Chip Kell) away at the Cal defense. And like usual they exploded in the second half scoring four more times and holding Cal to no points. There is pause for concern the Ducks leading rusher and tempo setter for the team, LaMichael James, went down in the second half with a dislocated shoulder and will be out for some unknown amount of time.
